Watercolor Garden Flowers Technique Tutorial

If you purchased our Sept. SOE Creativity Add On, you got a set of those awesome Tim Holtz Distress Crayons, Distress Watercolor Cardstock, and some beautiful Tim Holtz flower stamps, and today, we're sharing a technique tutorial Tracey has done with them.


Tracey created two beautiful cards, and used the flowers she made on them, and she says:  "I've used a variety of water soluble crayon type products, but this combination of Distress Crayons and Watercolor Cardstock worked the best for direct application to the paper, then adding water. The color moved and blended so beautifully, giving a lovely watercolor wash over the stamped flower image. (Usually the product leaves application marks on the paper that are clearly visible, but that was not the case with the Distress Crayons.)".  Here's her video:
