Weekend Inspiration from Laura

Good morning!
Today I am bringing you two projects to hopefully inspire your weekend creativity!

First up is a masculine layout....

This cool dude is our youngest when he graduated from Elementary school....

I used the 7 dots papers from the paper add on
and the tags from the elements add on

I chose the three papers I wanted and then trimmed them down and distressed the edges added the Tim Holtz tissue tape....then layered the tags

I had the Blue Fern Studios Jumbo Rings Panel in my stash.
I sprayed them with some Lindy's mists from previous kits then added some black ink and the stampendous aged black embossing enamel also from a previous kit and heat embossed it.
here is a close up of it

For the title piece I took three of the circles that punched out of the panel and sprayed them with three different grey mists from previous kits.  The star is also from Blue Fern...I misted and embossed the outline star then I misted the inside star with the Lindy's Rusty Lantern mist then inserted it back into the outline star and added my title.
I used a sketch from stuck?!

My next project is a card I made for a very dear friend's birthday

I used the leftovers from the Blue Fern Timeless papers from the kit to make the card!

The Blue Fern chipboard butterfly is from the main kit.
I inked it black ten embossed it with the Lindy's Stamp Gang Two-Toned Embossing Powder,  Gilded Burgundy Brass and  Midnight Pewter Obsidian from the color add on
I added some of the antique rose Tonic Studios Nuvo crystal drops from the main kit and some beads from a previous kit.
I added a few Petaloo flowers from the floral add on,
C'est Jolie! Mauve Panne De Velours Crushed Velvet Ribbon from the elements add on
and some Bo Bunny gems from a previous kit
The inside I stamped a saying that really does embody our friendship on a journaling cut out from one of the papers.  I also fussy cut a butterfly and added a some more Bo Bunny gems!

Thanks for stopping by!
